I am very much a Newbie, but have FTP installed Redhat 5.2/6 via my cable modem on 3 desktop systems with no problem. I am now attempting to setup RH6 on a Thinkpad 760LD, and my Ambicom 8002T 10B-T PCMCIA (on the list of supported pcmcia network cards) is not found during setup. I selected the Digital 21040 (Tulip) driver, but get "I can't find the device anywhere on your system" each try. DOS tells me the card is at 300/10, but I cannot enter these parameters when I choose the tulip driver. Am I doing something wrong, and/or would switching to a brand name card help?
