Well, they are Y2K compliant, but the kernel was never the problem (Unix
per se gets it's problem in 2038). The libc4 was and most probably user
space programs.
If you need something like a written confirmation that needs to be taken
into account. I see no other way than calling a company to do the tests
and certify your system. That means, however, MONEY. And: You cannot
change your system setup (i.e. install new programs) while keeping the
certificate vaild.
