Then quite possably minicomm was not closed properly, or somethig
else is using the same comm port.
LCK (lock) files can be found in /var/spool/uucp /var/lock somewhere
in var its system dependant.
Iif you find LCK.ttyS0 for example and you are sure nothing is using
ttyS0 then delete it, minicom should then start.
