Installing Quake 2 for Linux

Are there any gamers here?

Well, anyway, I have this CD game(s) of Quake 2 for Linux and the inst. manual says:

To install: use the command:

mount /dev/cdrom/mnt

Response:

mount: can't find /dev/cdrom/mnt in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

What do I do from here?
