Slackware, almost certanly, and if possable slackware 3.4 to 3.6 to
start with. Make sure he/you read the LOWMEM.TXT and README files
before doing anything.

Keep the swap partition as low as possable, abut 8 meg,  340 MB
should allow you ro install the a ap and n series disks, + the x
server, check afterwards how much room you have left after the
install, remember to condifure interfaces at install time as well.
If you have enough space left over you can add  the disk series
for development with pkgtool, thee i no need to keep reinstalling
after you find out that you have more space than you thought.

Remember one thing. ITS gonna be a slow machine.
Do not start to many daemons at boottime, otherwise you will be
waiting something like 5 to 10 minutes to login. I know i've been
there and done that.
