first off i dont have PPP so i am sure others will advise you beter
than i.
However, you are running noarp your netmask is 255.255.255.255
and your using multicast , now i have seen a lot of PPP interfaces
but normaly they look something  like this;

Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
inet addr: 123.123.123.1 P-t-P:123.123.123.1  Mask:255.255.0.0
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING  MTU:1500  Metric:1
RXpackets:33291 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
RX packets:28166 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 coll:0

I'm afraid thats all i can say, I think Ray and lawson will help you
more, and a lot better than i can, as they have PPP.
