Good listers,
I have a problem with netscape. Netscape works fine when I browsing help
files and the like, but when I try to go online I always get the the
dreaded "host may be down message.."
If I try to connect to the exact same site using lynx I get no problems.
So it's not a DNS problem.
All my netscape settings are the same as on my winblows box so I don't
_think_ it's a 'configuration' problem, but as lynx works I'm starting to
think it probably is.
Using Kppd with the graph running, when I use Netscape I see a few packets
of data travelling up the pipe to my ISP, but no reply packets. Using lynx
I get a few 'up' packets followed by a whole lot of 'down' packets.
I'm a bit lost and confused. I have looked in all the documentation I
have been able to find and can not see anything relating to my dilema
(possibly I'm looking in the wrong place ?).
Can anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong ?. Where should I look ?. Any
and all help is very much aprrecaited.
For the record I'm running RH6.0, Enlightenment (0.15 ?) and Gnome (1.1).
