Hi !

Finally i have some time to figure out how to print under Linux with a
non-ps-printer. Therefor I installed the newest version of GhostScript and
I got the special driver for my printer (HP DeskJet 895Cxi). I want to run
that printer as local printer on my linux box first before i play around
with network printing and samba.
Now I want to use my printer with several programs running in X with KDE
as desktop and I have the printtool program that was inlcuded in my RedHat
5.2 distrib. But how do i get the printtool and then finally my whole Linux
system to use the new driver for printing / filtering ? It is not listed
yet in the list of the available printer filters in printtool (which
doesn't surprise me), but where do I have to add what entry ?

I know I can just pass it over the command line what gs shall print, but
isn't it quite easier just to press the 'print' button, for example in
Netscape.
