When I used windoze, I signed up for a service that allowed faxes to be sent to
an assigned phone number, which were then forwarded to the user via email.
To view the fax, AFAIK, special windoze only software was required. But if I
remember correctly, some graphics programs would allow you to view the fax
also. I believe the fax-file would have an extension of ".xif" . Does anyone
know of any graphics programs that would allow you to read/view such files?
I've also heard about a LInux app called eFax. Has anyone used it, or
have any information about it?
