Hello once more :o)

I'd like to thank everyone for their wonderful help and instructions so far... I'm
amazed at the reponse my questions have brought :o)

Now that I know I have to change /home to something else to create the
symlink, I'll do that.

The current problem is vfat partitions on my computer.

 I have the following partitions:

 C: FAT32 1.5GB
 E: FAT32 5GB
 F: FAT32 2.9GB

All of those are on /dev/hda (though the partition numbers I forget).

Now, what I would like to know, is the best way to mount these vfat
partitions in Linux.
I made a change to /etc/rc.d/rc.modules in Slackware 4, to support fat and
vfat filesystems. When I boot, I keep getting an error msg something like

"vfat.o device busy" (or something similar)

Now, I can still read these partitions (they're in the fstab), they're mounted
rw, and browsing through them etc has no hassles.
Except for the fact the "\" character seems to replace the spaces in vfat
names. Is that normal ?
Also, why do I get the error on the vfat.o file ? Should I just leave it
commented out, seeing as the partitions can be read anyway ?

I main reason I have for mounting these partitions, is one has my mp3 and
other sounds files, grafx, and website work on it, and the other has my
games installed (Quake and Quake 2 which I hope to get working in Linux
;o)).

Oh, and I got KDE and Gnome/Enlightenment working. The process
caused my system to lock up a number of times. I had to hard-reboot,
causing mounted filesystems to be left mounted, and checked at boot time
:o(
Where's the best resource for KDE/Gnome apps ? I want to run some apps
on Linux to give me reason to use it more (than just play around with the
config files hehe) :o)

Cheers for all your help! :o)
