Both of the entries below are correct depending on what format of floppies
you intened to mount. ext2 is the Linux file system. The floppy you intend
to mount with that file system MUST have been previously formatted by Linux
using the mkfs command.
If you intend on mounting only floppies that have been formatted as MSDos,
then the second entry is correct.
I actually have two entries in my fstab for mountining floppies. Like so:
/dev/fd0 /floppy ext2 defaults 0 0
/dev/fd0 /a msdos user,defaults 0 0
The first entry allows me to mount ext2 disks by running:
mount /floppy
The second entry allows me to mount msdos disks by running:
mount /a
This configuration requires that you have a directory /a. If you don't
already have one you will need to make one by running as root:
cd /
mkdir a
check to see that /a allows users rw access, and you are done.
Good luck
