Sorry I was not too clear. I was indeed in the
/usr/src/linux directory. Specifically from the
NISTNET installation guide
4.Make sure you can build and install usable kernels:
cd /usr/src/linux
make config
When I try the "make config", it gives me an error
such as:
make:*** No rule to make target 'config'. Stop
I initially thought this
error might be because there is no Makefile in that
directory. But I get the
same message even if I try it from the /nistnet
sub-directory (where there is
indeed a Makefile present). I could not find any
.configure script present.
