I tried to do my email from Linux by re-installing NETSCAPE 4.51
On startup it says:
'/usr/local/netscape/plugins/cpPack1.jar.old' is not an ELF file.
ERROR: Not an ELF file.
Can't load '/usr/local/netscape/plugins/cpPack1.jar.old'. Ignored.
(Netsc starts up OK)
After completing an email message I point-click on 'Send' and
Netscapes disappears.
Aborted (core dumped) --it says on my screen.
How do I solve this problem?
I am running RH 5.0, default installation.
I have not done any NETSC configuration (there probably is
from a previous installation).
The directory of cpPack shows these files:
/usr/local/netscape/plugins/
cpPack1.jar
cpPack1.jar.old
libnullplugin.so
libnullplugin.so.old
