Hello all concerned.
Ray, you are correct in saying that, it seems to be one rather large
area which always seems to come last when updates are concerned.
All i can do now is repeat myself, i know of a person who used a
CD200 on a linux machine, if i could get hold of him i would ask, but
he has been off line for ages and he does not live around here.
Another reason for my reply here is because if i remember correctly
we have been here and done this before here on this list, in fact if
i remember correctly Ted Gervias, who is a member of this list had a
simaler problem once with his CD-Rom connected thro' his soundcard.
I could indeed look for myself as i have an account on his machine as
i help Ted along with other configuration things when i get time, of
which i cant allocate much of to linux as i would like at the minute
as i am limited to 30 mins, sitting time due to revalidation after my
back operation 2 weeks ago.

Well i dont want to start discussing things which i personal have
not done, once again the person i knew used the sbpcd driver, or at
least i am 99% sure, as he was always swearing at it's short cummings.
