What's your standard for "good"? With only 8 megs, you probably want a
console-based app -- X struggles in 8 megs, and X plus any GUI-based word
processor will be as slow as molasses.
Limiting yourself to console choices means that you won't find anything
excellent, but a couple of decent choices are:
pico, part of the pine e-mail package
joe, which resembles the pre-GUI Wordstar 3.3
Most full-strength Linux distributions will include both of these.
