I am having problems configuring X. I have a Packard Bell PnP 2024S moniter
and a Silicon Integrated Systems video card, chipset SiS 5597/5598. My
problem; I have no Idea what to set my refresh rates, or horizontal sweep
rates. When I try to conservatively guess at these numbers, I end up with a
virtual desktop 6 times the size of my screen, and Icons about 2 inces
accross. I have tried to get rid of the virtual settings in my XF86Config
file, but no progress. Any help will be greatly apprecieted, as my current
desktop is unusable.
