Correct!!

Actually a kind of distributing a bunch of software, setup to work
together.  A binary copy removes the uncertainties of manual labour and
improves QA, either it worked or it didn't.

The funny thing, though, is that it is getting harder and harder to obtain
the same HDs for more than 6 months at a time. Then they are replaced by new
models...
