Then the support is in the kernel itself and so should nls support,
it is a standard kernel you are using so there should be no problem.

Yes this is now missleading as its kerneld complaning, the support
should be in the kernel,

well i would change the above as quite possably that is causing some
of the problems,

Just try the following in /etc/fstab

/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro 0 0 
mount /mnt/cdrom

That should do it.

Everything should be there in that kernel, its a standard kernel.
