Running keydump command shows that I have access to the IBM extended keyboard, such as European accented letters. I'd like to print these as I used to do under DOS, but don't know how under Linux. The keydump says that compose "`" yields a e ecute, for example, but no indication of how to execute it. Ideally I'd like to enter a key combination ending in the number for the letter, such as 233 for e ecute. Would I have to do a lot of mapping in order to create something like Ctl-Alt-233 printing an e ecute? Haines Brown
