What does 'cat /proc/pci' say about the card, is it registered.?
Looking into ./linux/Documentation/Configure.help is not of much help i'm
afraid, what you can do and in this case is what i would do is, define
"all" known PCI drivers as modules, after rebooting with the new kernel you
can then play with modprobe trying to find the correct driver.
It might sound crazy but it could be the easiest and quicket way, providing
no one else pops up with a mesage saying, o you need the xxx driver.
