Dear All
I'm running RH6.1, kernel 2.2.Idontremember on a pentium, the parallel port is
0x378 IRQ 7 and works well under DOS.
"cat /proc/devices "
does'nt show any lp entry and
"cat /proc/ioports"
does'nt see any parallel port (lp or 0x378 or 0x278 addresses).
"dmesg | grep driver" shows something like:
lp: driver loaded but no device found
modules lp, parport and parport_probe are loaded but inactive and autoclean is
set
What to do now? Any idea? Should I configure modules ?
