Check out http://www.freshmeat.net

do a search for 'cdwrite' then goto cdwrites home page.

cdwrite is the software that writes the information to the CDR/CDRW, if you
drive is supported then it will work.  If you are going with a SCSI CDR/W make
sure the SCSI controller you are getting, is supported under Linux.   Check out
the Linux-hardware howto.   If it is an IDE CDR/W then you shouldn't have to
worry about IDE support under Linux (since almost every IDE controller is
supported).  I would personally recommened against a IDE CDR/W.  They do cost
less, but the cost less for a reason.  Also I heard it was more difficult to
get IDE CDR/W to work under Linux.
