Thats correct, you told the make program to make "bzImage" so the image is
called bzImage.

cp arch/i386/boot/bzImage /boot/vmlinuz-2.2.xx

give vmlinuz an extention like vmlinuz-2.2.13-1 otherwise you could
overwrite the old image and be left with no backup, in other words you will
destroy the origanal image.

You could but you will never find vmlinuz.
