Just thought I'd share a humorous Experience I had over the weekend with all
of you!
My girlfriend gave me a copy of "The Redhat Bible" By Christopher Negus it's
a great book with information about everything from Setting Up PPP to
Setting up a Firewall/Proxyserver. This book is a great Item for any
GNU-bie's Holiday Wishlist. Anyway It's an awesome book and it comes with
RHL 6.1 so I sisdn't realy care much for mandrake 6.0 anyway and figured
we'd try the new version. so I made a big tarball of my /etc folder and
left in my home/download folder. then I backed up all the necacary files to
my /home/download dir, killed all of the user's homes to maky sure that I
had Cleansed everything of those Damm Evil Configurations! then typed rm -fr
/home/d and expected that the tab completion would pick up the used Dave
(spelled with a Capital D instead it got downloads. so I pressed
this killed all of my backups!
Anyway just does to show it's best to back up to a meduim that is not
readily accessabile! like (CDRW) Now lets See if I remember the answers to
the questions that I've been asking for

Happy Holidays Everyone!
Regards,
Chris Bennett
