Hi All,
I am newbie to Linux, esp. where it concerns system admining and
maintainence etc. I read through the Howtos of setting up a dial-up
connection to an ISP and then found wvdial that promised to be much
simpler. I have installed the wvdial-1-20 and on running wvdialconf, it
does not recongnise my modem. I have a RockWell internal data/fax PCI
modem that is intalled on COM2 (according to windows) and works fine
there. Can anyone tell me what I must do to set it up right? I realise
that if I am to start using Linux regularly, I need to be able to connect
to the world from there.
