I'm trying to debug my ppp connection and am running into the
following problem.
Using usernet, the modem dials up and connects to my university
account, but then I get the following
Serial connection established
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/modem
Hangup (SIGHUP)
Connection Terminated.
Receive serial link is not 8-bit clean:
Problem: all had bit 7 set to 0
Hangup (SIGHUP)
Exit.
Using minicom, I'm able to dial up just fine and stay on. Any
suggestions about how to get the ppp communication going? FWIW, I'm
running RH 6.1
