Hi all,

In short:
In did a fresh install of Slackware 7.0, installed LILO in the MBR
and with startup I get a LI
I made three disks at the installationbut all three give some sort of
strange output when I boot from them (talking of bad luck, three bad
floppy's :^( )
So, the partitions are:
/dev/hda1 W$98 (around 3G)
/dev/hda2 Linux Swap (around 107MB)
/dev/hdb1 Linux Native (around 19G)
/dev/hb2 Linux Swap (just a few Meg's)
I'm able to boot Linux by booting from the SW CD-R and giving it some
options at the prompt.
What I don't get is , Linux was already installed on the system with the
same configuration...
Playing around with LILO I get a geo_comp_addr: Cylinder number is to
big (2376>1023)
Would it be solved if I take a piece of hda2, make it ext2 fs, put
vmlinuz there and tell LILO to look there for an image?
I'm asking this in advance so I don't mess up the complete system...
TIA,
    Jeroen
