Hello to all.

I know this should be easy but I'm stumped. I've read everything I can get my
hands on and as far as I understand it everything is configured. (Theres the
rub, maybe?)

I have a DeskJet 682C on rocko. It prints fine. I can print to it from the
Win98 boxes on the network. I can't print to it from any other Linux box. I
have used printtool to set it up and it all looks alright. When I send a test
page I get 'connect: connection refused' yada, yada. I know about the
existence of a hosts.lpd, but don't know its format. I assume (aha!) it goes
in /etc and I have cp'd my /etc/hosts to /etc/hosts.lpd, removing hosts I don't
need to print from. Anybody know the correct way to use this file? Is it even
necessary? Thanks for any and all ideas. Paul
