Many programs accept common options for X-Window (you'll probably want
to see "$ man X").
This option works with netscape:
$ netscape -geometry 770x550+10+10
or if u prefer to open Netscape messenger:
$ netscape -mail -geometry 770x550+10+10
Depending on the program, you'll be able or need to use similar options
like:
--geometry
with two "--" instead of one "-" hyphen, or
--geom
or (as in xterm) simply:
-g
What do coordinates mean?
Look for uppercase:
$ program --geometry WIDTHxHEIGHT+X-AXIS-POSITION+Y-AXIS-POSITION
This works with most programs.
