Wine questions

If I understand Wine correctly, one can run Windows apps from Linux using
Wine.  Is that right?

So if I want a graphical e-mail client and I want to run, say, Eudora, and I
am using a given distro of Linux, that would be done using Wine, right?

So say I've downloaded Wine and want to install it and try to use it.  Are
there any how-to's regarding regarding configuring Wine for use with apps
that are made for Windows?

Last, but not least, where on the web can I download Wine from?
