Sorry to bother you with these 'simple' questions, but how do I install an
RPM? I have redhat installed. When I try to use the rpm install manager and
push 'install' either nothing happens or the computer responds with 'no
action taken' when I try to execute a file contained in the rpm. My second
question is: how can I get my soundblaster live to work under linux? I heard
something about 'compiling a kernel' or something. Is there an easier way
around this or is there a detailed manual as to how I have to do this? And
my third question is: Are there any electronics programs available on linux
(eg Schematics and pcb design and simulation)?
