Subject: shutdown, and not reboot

Hi,

I'm using KDE w/ Slackware linux distribution.. After I play with it
for a while, I quit KDE and from the prompt,
I always quit the computer w/ "3 fingers quit"
Then, it always reboot the computer..
Is there a way to just shutdown a computer and not reboot?
one I can do with windo*z..
Thanks,

Paul
