Make sure the correct module is set for the 3Com 3C509x card.
You may want to do an /sbin/lsmod to check what modules are installed.
The easiest way to change it is by going into the linuxconf > Basic Host
Information and look to see which modules is installed for eth0. If the wrong
one is selected highlight it and press Ctrl+X to view a list of available
options...
