Hi I'm having a problem trying to add a back up SCSI tape drive.
I've installed an Adaptec 2940UW SCSI card into my machine
which connects to a Cybernetics tape drive. When I rebooted
the machine the SCSI card was recognized but I don't know how
to access the drive now.
Is there anything else I need to do to configure the drive?
I tried using the following command to back up my /home directory:
find /home -print | cpio -o > /dev/st0
and got the following error:
device not found...
Any suggestions?
