Ok. So now I am trying to setup Gnome. After using Linuxconf to try to
disable sendmail and to set up eth0 it won't let me telinit 5.
Says:
INIT: Switching to runlevel: 5
[root@LinuxServer /root]# Strting PCMCIA [OK]
Starting
lnuxconf
[OK]
And then it locks. I thought, last night, that it might time out so I
went to bed and was gonna work on it again in the morning. But nothing
changed. If I hit [return] I get the prompt again.
In ps ax sendmail is still waiting on port 25 and I have on entry
saying:
877 ? S 0:00 /usr/bin/gdm -nodaemon
And that is the only thing that looks different to me.
I'm running RH6.1
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this. I tried deleting the linuxconf.cw
file.
