Hello all,
First I want to thank to all guys who answer my prev. questions.
Q1. I'm running NIS on my local network, but strangely it is often when a
user loging in from a client, the server's console would display an
error messages:
fh_verify: //$USER permission failure, acc=1, error=13
What's the problem here?
Though the user still can get login normally but actually this is
annoying.
Q2. My network is running very slowly, I suspect this is caused by
a bad configuration of the NIS, since it tooks a long time to get
passwd authentication from a client, changing directory, etc.
( server: P III 450 MHz, client: P II 400 MHz, with no exhaustive/
memory hog program)
What is a good network performance program should I use? And what to
make my network connection faster?
Thanks in advance,
-fathar
