Thats because Miscky$oft takes the liberty of demanding things like the MBR
what it has done is overwritten LILO.

Now you do have a bootdisk dont you.??

Use it to access the linux partition, i cant remember how its done with RH,
possably at the boot prompt type;

mount root=/dev/hda1 ro

Where /dev/hda1 is the partition where your "/" root filesystem is located on.
After booting, edit /etc/lilo.conf add a section for win95 and rerun lilo.
