Mike,
You want to make sure that your routing is setup correctly and that the
interface and network works on the other box (the one you are trying to
ping). If you still can not get it to work, please send me in a personal
email the output of the ifconf and route of the box that does not work and
if the other box is a linux box, please send the output of ifconfig and
route on that box too.
