What a learning curve.
Great major problem solved.

I installed either red hat or Mandrake to duel boot all my NT servers. 4.0
sp5

There have been problems. All machines are identical, all are 300a at 464 on
abit bh6 with ati cards.

Only one will use the remote smb to print.
smb failed outright and required a reinstall 2 times

only one will use ppp on the probe 33.3s and after it did that machine could
no longer see the lan, I either get the IP of the lan or the IP of the dhcp
for the dialup, cant have both with the same machine.

This thing needs a user manager that shares data with everything else,
including the NT NIS. This is the only
problem I consider serious, a real flaw that greatly
increase the workload.

THAT SAID I would like to congratulate all that took part in developing this
thing. It really is a pleasure to work with this.

NO MORE MS STUPIDNESS LIKE

with MS

I start a big job just to come back in a hour expecting to see the job done
and there is a popup there says DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE and the job is 1/4
done.

NO MORE coasters... my burner on almost diskless 95a will automatically
just like dizzy winblows change file names or refuse to copy files because
of backward dos compatibility from the 70s, what crap...

Linux solved this, now I make a image with xcdroast and call it a ISO image.
This gets called from easy cd on winblows and makes a CD that works.
Wonderful

Great work guys.
