Perhaps you would like to add a line wrap to your mailer or editor,
this mail is a one liner its 313 chars long.
As to the HOWTO's not being on your system, normaly if one has the
distribution source then you can install "extra documentation" with
rpm (redhat debian suse) pkgtool (slackware).
