Hi, I am a linux newbie, and new to this list, so excuse me if I am treading on toes,
and please excuse lack of netiquette and so forth.

i went and read through pages of how tos, but the problem was solved when someone
suggested to change my modem speed setting, which i did, willing to try anything,
and bingo i was connected!..now i can't seem to get ns (4.6) to work.
it can't even find _home_ netscape.com!
are there any special settings in ns that i need to set in order for it to work?
alternatively, should i try another browser?
i am so close to being windoz free!...i am feeling giddy with anticipation :o)
