I assume what you want to do is make a public ftp server for your intranet?
One way to do this is to create a new user acct (say pubserver) and assign a
passward to it. Then anyone with the username and password can ftp to that
acct. I would be caerful about how you set your permissions though so no one
can get to other dirs from that acct, yet other valid accts can cp files from
that dir to their own acct.
