Hi,
why is it that every time I boot my RH 6.1 I have to reconfigure the
sound. First I have to configure as Sound Blaster 16 which then
does not pass the test then followed by configuring as CMI8330
after which I pass the tests and my sound is back. After a reboot
the sound is gone except for a "teck" when there should be a
sound. Configuring straight for CMI8330 does not work with any
sort of combination of settings.
My sound card is called Audio Excel and worked well in RH 5.2
under Sound Blaster 16.
