hello, system requirements page lists linux, windows and macs. reqs. page is at http://www.maplesoft.com/products/Student/student_system.html so I guess linux is supported. You could also try octave or scilab, the opensource alternatives. I'm not sure how they compare, but I just downloaded scilab and it looks nice, I haven't tried octave yet. there was recently a discussion on slashdot on math software. http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=00/02/27/1343255&mode=thread an extensive list of other math packages is at http://www.sai.msu.su/sal/A/1/index.shtml scilab is at http://www-rocq.inria.fr/scilab/ and octave at http://www.che.wisc.edu/octave/octave.html ____________________________________________________________ Kervin Pierre If it works, don't touch it -- if it doesn't, run away. -- Anon., Tech Wisdom #2 On Fri, 3 Mar 2000, Karthik Vishwanath wrote: > Hi All, > > Is there a maple available for Linux?
