FTP not working right

Everytime I ftp into my Linux box the ftp login prompt shows the following.

220 localhost.localdomain FTP server (Version wu-2.5.0(1) Tue Sep 21 16:48:12

How can I fix this so that is shows the name of the machine.domain?
