Hi,

Firstly I apologise for posting these many questions so frequently, but
now being on the network here is fun and I want to try lots of things.

There was a DHCP-mini howto and now I have DHCP running on boot. The
problem now is that I get a very strange machine name. I understand that
a lookup of that name with my domain will give me my ip address and that
it happens because I am using DHCP. Is there anyway in which I can assign
my machine its own name? Does it make sense to ask this question?

Thanks,
-Karthik.
