I'm not sure if you can call it via bash or X.

But it is not an essential tool for adding/changeing disks
and their partitions.

If you know how /etc/fstab works then you can do it all
from the command prompt with fdisk, mkfs and manually editing
/etc/fstab. Checkout the man pages for fdisk, mkfs and fstab.

Subject: Disk Druid - a real newbie question

Hello!

I use RedHat 6.1 and I never figured out if Disk Druid is an independent
program or just an interface to fdisk or cfdisk? Can it be called/used
AFTER RH's setup, as a regular utility? Supposing I want to destroy my
data on HDD... :-)

Regards,
Razvan
