I have installed redhat 6.2 on my laptop however at boot just after it
attempts to load APM i get a general protection fault which kills the
machine. Anyone have any ideas on this or how to disable APM or who could
point me in the right direction please? I have tried both enabling and
disabling APM however this doesnt affect whether or when the machine hangs.
