Because you did something wrong. What? Who knows? Probably left something
set wrong in your ipfwadm or ipchains rules ... but such a sketchy
description permits only wild-but-vague guessing. 

You need to describe what you did in much more detail before I (or anyone
here) can try to troubleshoot this kind of problem.
