/dev/sg0 is for an ide device which needs scsi emulation, like some tape
streamers and cdwriters.
What you may need to do is load the module 'sg' first before trying to
start the program.
I had some minor problems with my Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer Plus 8200,
ATAPI CDROM drive and a CD-ROM 40X/AKU, ATAPI CDROM drive together on the
same system, when i had used the cdrom and the ide-cdrom module was loaded
sg would not load, i had to manually unload all the normal cdrom drivers
first, which are ide-cd and cdrom.
Now i have a SCSI hardrive and no IDE H/D's, all IDE devices use SCSI
emulation and make the whole system easier to use.
